One thing we really wanted to try this year was ice skating! We stopped off at Whitehall Garden Centre on the way to Nanny’s house and surprised the children. We had lunch over looking the ice rink and both the children said they really wanted to try ice skating!
We went and collected our skates and skating aids.
The children loved sitting on the banana whilst the adults did all the hard work pushing them around.
Big Brother tried skating with the help of a penguin (and Daddy).
It was really good fun despite being busy with lots of other people, some of whom could skate a lot better than we could.
